[Help] UC Browser refuses to open

My computer froze up and UC Browser won't open because of that issue. Now I am getting a pop up message saying that I have to reinstall the program in order to fix the problem.

Why is my UC Browser refusing to open? Can somebody please explain this to me? I do not want to uninstall the browser and then lose everything.

Never mind. I had to reboot the computer in order for the browser to work again.

Hey dear~

For this problem, it's probably because of the froze up issue so UC Browser can'e be opened normally. But plz no worries, if you backup your data before your uninstall it, it will not lost everything. You can login your UC account, and backup everything you want(bookmarks or others), then uninstall it and reintall it, the data will be still there~ And plz notice that if you uninstall it, plz don't choose to delete all your data and history. Plz have a check the screenshot below.


Would you plz also offer us screenshot for further check?

Now the issue is happening again.

Now the browser is freezing on startup, I can't even add a bookmark on it.

Dear friend.
If you browser version is below 6.120, please try to download it and update.
If you are using version 6.120, please try to reinstall, but when you uninstall, don't tick Delete all personal configuration and data.

I reinstalled it and was able to get everything back. I believe that the browser is the latest version though.

I believe that the browser is the latest version though.

To check if uc browser is the latest version click the icon in the top right>check for latest update

It seems there has some problem when you install UC Browser, did you try to delete it and reinstall it again? Does it work or not?
