Hi UC Folks!

Recently there are a little pandemic about the following issue while trying to access gmail.com:

===START OF THE ISSUE SCREEN=====================================

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from mail.google.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_SSL_PINNED_KEY_NOT_IN_CERT_CHAIN
Subject: mail.google.com
Issuer: Google Internet Authority G3
Expires on: 16/01/2018
Current date: 01/11/2017
mail.google.com normally uses encryption to protect your information. When UC Browser tried to connect to mail.google.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be mail.google.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because UC Browser stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

===END OF THE ISSUE SCREEN=======================================

Attached you can find the PEM encoded chain details.

So, as many users (including me) have been experimenting this error I want to know if there is any solution to do by our side (client), or if this will wait to an upcoming patch or version from the UC development team.

You can see the other affected users and cases since https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/tMMdiEv-UOk

Cheers!

Hi - The debug text you posted (aka PEM blocks) show that this is a root certificate update problem.

I posted a G3 solution here
http://forum.ucweb.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1151143

Try it out, reply there

thanks, Larry

FYI: I am also supporting the Chrome forum thread (-UOk) you posted above.

If I could get my avatar to update here, you could see it's the same me.
Avatar update fails with SQL access failed
