It's me your british-japanese sissy Kiwi ,again with a massive post! this time it isn't a complaint, but the general results of a secret "test" i've taken the time to make to you all haha but you guys didn't know

This is dedicated to the most common errors faced among English-language learners of oriental background. This thread is mainly aimed at helping users in order to avoid making these common mistakes, and may also help senior users with a decent level of english who are working -or planning to work- with hindi, etc-speaking users<3
Dears, please keep this topic clean(this isn't a tutorial, nor a test), and may moderators or admins place this on the section they deem most correct for this, or merge the reply after this 1st topic:

Subject omission!
This is a common(but understandable) error because, it seems that in oriental languages sometimes it is not necesary to add a grammatical person to a sentence. But please notice that, in english, the subject or grammatical person(I, you, he/she/it, they, us) is always necesary.
Often, users will say(for example)
-"Is important to read the rules."(incorrect), when they should say "It is important to read the rules."(correct)
The word "it" does not necesarily always refer to something in particualr, however it is a must, so that the sentence shown is grammatically correct.

Article omission and wrong use of have/haven't!
Our dear bros and sis here tend to frequently eliminate articles(like a, an).
Example: "He is moderator"; "I haven't symbian phone.."(both incorrect); when it should be "He is a moderator"; "I don't have a symbian phone.." (correct)
This probably happens because in their language articles aren't used the same way. And regarding have/haven't, remember that if you want to say it as in possesion or non-possesion; you must use "don't have" and not "haven't". Because you are meaning it as an action(verb).

Pronouns fail!
Many users here seem to have problem recognising/differing AND placing pronouns(he, him) accurately.
Example: "Did not know who was him"(incorrect) instead of "I did not know who he was"(correct)..

Double negation
Typical mistake.. "I didn't face not a problem."(incorrect).. it should be denied only once, like this: "I didn't face a problem."(correct)

Verbs with forever past tense conjugation! :Q
I don't know why this even happens.. it is shocking that some do this: "i was online right now!"; "this is the first time I saw the reply.." "I was going to the store right now, brb" "hey, was you there?" (all incorrect if used to speak on present time).. oh my god, such horrible error It is grammaticaly incorrect to speak about future or present time by using past tense conjugations. Correct ways are "I am online right now!" " this is the first ime i see the reply" "i am going to the store, brb" "hey, are you there?"(all correct).
Please, take the time to read your english books and learn as most regular and irregular verbs, conjugated or not; as possible that you can read.

Crazy disorder on words usage..
Frequently, uc users mistake a lot on the order of the words they are using. Example:
"He in bedroom has lunch"(incorrect) instead of "He has his lunch in the bedroom"(correct); " Pluto is yellow funny dog"(incorrect), instead of " Pluto is a funny yellow dog"(correct)

Use of "does" and confusion of verbs in 3rd person!
I've witnessed misusage of these. Example: "Does this means we updated?"(incorrect). You can't say "does" and at the same time, use a verb in 3rd person(he/she/it), like "means". The correct form would be "Does this mean we updated?" When you use do, you then may use verbs on 3rd person form. Like "do you know if Grace administrates this section?"(correct).
"Does Sunil bro punish users for flooding?"(correct)
incorrect forms would be: "Does you knows if Grace administrates this section?" "Does Sunil bro punishes users for flooding?"
Remember: if you use "does", don't add an "s" to any following verb on the same sentence.
Also, if you use "did", don't conjugate the next verb to past tense form.. for example, "i didn't used the app"(incorrect).. instead use, "i didn't use the app".
Did(past tense of verb "to do") adds the tense to the entire sentence, so, you don't need to conjugate the verbs.

Use of "this" and "these"
"This" is for SINGULAR use..
"These" is for PLURAL use. Don't use only 'this', or only 'these' for everything.
Example: "I think all this problems are related to upgradation"(incorrect), instead of "I think all these problems are related to upgradation"(correct).

Use of shortened english.. or vowels omission!
Vowels are "a, e, i, o, u". Users erase them so often, probably a way to avoid mistaking.. talking like this: "I knw wt ur tlking abt." is WRONG. And you won't let anyone learn, nor YOU will learn anything from it. Make the habit of speaking fluent written english please<3

yes i thought it'd be better to point at common errors, than posting a topic only aimed to correctly-written english there's a lot of great tutorials for english online, but rarely any common errors tutotial! also, i used examples that have forum-talk and words/names that would seem familiar .. like sunil.. punishing, upgrading.. haha XD

would everyone commenting on this thread like to take part on a short english test, via PM? or something haha we could think up a way to make a test..
so that with the results, i build a substancial mini thread with something really new and with specific errors or tips, to you all? maybe? i hope it won't be troublesome..
i've tried looking up online tutorials from other websites but most of them suck, so is why i decided taking the cards here..
i'm posting on free-talk section anyways, i don't think moderators will get mad at me for this..
i'd like to see you all using phrasal verbs although that's advanced english..

That's a brilliant idea to start a quiz like thread, dedicated to only English Grammar.

  You are expecting use  of Phrasal verbs by everyone, that is a little tough, although if you share some knowledge about phrasal verbs here, it can help.
