[update 2010-08-30]Forum Rules: Must Read Updated and All Rules in One

We appreciate the time you spent to read forum rules here. We hope all members to read these new updated rules. Read all rules carefully to have a nice time here and to avoid any ban or punishment from Moderation Team.

I. Rules related to Posting

A. Only english language allowed in the forum. Don't use your local language as other members cannot understand it.

B. Posts with content related to nudity, sex, abusive, hateful, threatening and with unfriendly manner are prohibited.

C. Cracked apps and GPRS tricks/hacks can be shared in the Mobile Resources Area.

D. Leaked UC Products can be posted in the UC Discussion Area except for the coming Official English versions(Right now UC Browser 7.4) only if the BID value(Server) has been changed for International users i.e. 350/351/352 etc. and not Chinese i.e. 999.

E. A review of the post after trying it is recommended instead of posting just thanks.

F. Share only mobile browsers in "Other Moblile Browsers Area". Any other Mobile Apps should be shared in "Mobile Resources".

G. Uploading file as attachment instead of giving a link is recommended. Ask moderators if you have problem. If for any reason given link, it should be a direct download link, not a webpage.

H. Attachments with malware/adware/virus or malicious content is strictly prohibited.

I. If your post is long, limit it in the smallest numbers of posts possible.

J. The title of the post should give idea of the content, even better to start it with [Help], [Tutorial], [Request] etc. Use [Solved] if the thread is solved.

K. Giving name/username in tags or using tags that has no relation to the topic and useless are not allowed.

L. Posts intended for flooding, meaningless posts, double posts, back to back posts without any reason will not be tolerated. Use search before posting if you are not sure it is posted previously or not.

M. Chatting is allowed only in the Free Talk section.

N. Posts with pure smilies and no meaningful text are not allowed. To avoid unnecessary disputes or remarks causing misunderstandings and other arrangement of the text symbols which are not easy to be recognised are not allowed.

O. Any material, source etc. that has nothing to do with the area of designated content are not allowed.

P. Any badly intended replies to a post that is older than 60 days from the of the reply (3 times within 24 hours) and bumping posts is not allowed.

Q. We've noticed that some members trying to bump their topics by different tricks like posting something useless and than deleting or reply to a old comment. Bumping your topics this way is not allowed.

R. User can test anything in Test Area. All user's post in Test Area will be deleted after a short period.

II. Rules related to Advertising

A. No advertising of other sites in this forum is allowed. You can only post masked links to pages which don't require any registration just in case of someone needs help.

B. Uploading any file containing other site's url is prohibited. If uploading any translated/modded application, link to your site can only be placed in the help and/or about page. Don't add links in splash screen, start page or bookmarks.

C. Use only one name/url of your site in signature. Any text tempting to visit the site such as "Free Applications" won't be tolerated.

D. Banners/images/icons of sites in signature are not allowed.

E. No pay per click links, premium file sharing site links like plunder, rapidshare, ziddu are allowed. They might be allowed just n some special cases like large file size.

F. Any use of unauthorized content of this forum in commercial purposes are not allowed. Any publication of personal websites or links without the forum's approval are prohibited.

G. Don't P.M. any member requesting to join your site or forum. This will result in instant ban.

H. Buy/sell ads about electronic devices, magazines or any products are not allowed.

III. Rules related to Nationality

A. Any encouragement of violating includes joining a cult(an immoral religion) the law must be prohibited.

B. Any form of publication or dissemination of ultra-nationalist slogans thinking of the extreme incitement to ethnic or political orientation, geographic disputes triggered text messages, pictures or other content of the Web site link are prohibited.

IV. Rules related to Member Profile

A. The names of new members must not be similar to the forum e.g. UCWEB, UCFLY or the products of this company e.g.UCWEB6, UCMAIL, UCDESK, as well as the names of managers and forum moderators, extreme political ideology, ultra-nationalist ideology of the text or symbols, including but not limited to a homonym of the word, the use of obscene, vulgar, insulting and offensive words and characters must not be used.

B. Use of materials in personal profiles that are excessive or vulgar or offensive to the eye are not allowed.

C. Using more than one link of personal sites in signatures is prohibited.

D. Misuse of " Props " without any requirements(like making your post Sticky) is not allowed.

V. General Rules

A. All the above rules apply equally to all sections and members of the forum.

B. Moderators have the right to edit/delete/ban/lock the post if they think it violates any of the rules.

C. Members violating the rules will be given warning, negatively rated, banned temporarily or banned permanently depending on their level of violation.

D. We, the Moderation Team will try our best to ignore mistakes of Newbies and give them full support making them understand the forum and the rules better. But the same mistakes by old members will not be tolerated.

E. If a member notices any violation of the rules, he should use the "Report" button to send a pm to the moderators of that area in stead of replying there(like "Mods, Please move the topic") or warning the member and behaving as a moderator. But please don't expect reply for a report.

Rules will continue to update and we advise members to visit regularly. Also we inform if major change made.
