u know how annoying it is to be standing next to someone who starts talking out loud to their invisible friend… errm… is making a call with their Bluetooth headset? Because you don’t see a phone in their hand when they start having their private conversation in public, you may be assuming that they’re still coming down from last night’s pharmaceutical adventures. We might have more sympathy, or at least try harder to ignore their conversation, if there was a visual clue, such as making the universal hand sign for “I’m on a phone call”.

It also might help if more people used these special pairs of gloves, which let people turn their hand into their mobile handset. The Bluetooth Gloves, which sync with a smartphone, feature an integrated microphone and speaker (in the pinkie and thumb), allowing users to answer their phone, have a conversation, and hang up, all from their gloves. These gloves are said to be not only “touch-screen friendly”, but also comfortable and warm, so even if you’re making calls outside in the cold, your digits will stay protected.
