Liesel,
- we are tired of changing almost everyday new/old versions of uc browser,
- we are tired to report problems and nobody listen of fix it,
- we are tired of commercial speed dials and rss news to be promoved for non use,

I recommend:
- for 2G, Opera Mini (because it more fast and more stable)
- for 3G, 4G & WIFI, Dolphin Browser Beta (because it the best)
- for symbian users check out the new update in 22.01.2013 of Opera Mini 7.1

Good luck uc company and sorry but you are not my favorite browser anymore.

Have encoured downloading problem in official release. Refer below details;

Handset Make/Model       : Samsung Galaxy SII GT-9100G
Android OS Version          : Android ICS 4.0.4
Browser Version             : UCBrowser_V8.6.0 Official
Operator, APN & Type    :Reliance GSM, rcomnet, 2G
Country                            : India
Wap Access via Server    : Can't find option whether OFF or ON in Android version
ID                                     : 378366
Detail Bug Report             : After downloading certain MB (eg. 16MB or 30MB), the download speed goes below 1 KBps (eg. 285 kbps or 185 kbps). Download fails and tries to reconnect for resume but finally it stops.
Repetition of Bug             : Sometimes
URL of Site (if any)          : www.hipfile.com
In Older versions             : Working Fine in Test Version

Really appreciate your details. There is not Wap Access via Server on Android. If you met this problem, you can clear caches, go to menu>settings>optimization to turn on/off cloud acceletation to try. And some files cannot be resumed. You can check it by choosing the download file and then clcik on menu>details>resume from break point.If it shows support,and you still cannot resume it,you can try to change the block size and download path.Make sure there is enough room in your phone.If it still deosn't work,pls tell us the specific download link to check.Thanks for your support.
