uc_Dev, I am a new bee to this application but I have some questions.
Motorola RIZR Z3
T-Mobile, USA

I have been using Operamini fpr some time, and then I heard about your product, right off the bat, your product looks and feels a lot better...
I am in the USA, and contrary to everyone on the Opera forum, UCWEB is much faster than their product.

You guys have some very nice Features... and that is what my Questions are about.
1) If I go to some sites it loads the site but I cannot see any pictures, especially the Forums or like Gmail, the message does appear, but no pics, I have gone theu the settings but cannot seem to be able to figure out why that is happening.

2) Loading the page, I have set it to Text & Image for preload, the page loads, tht there is something "second Session" and then the page that loads has nothing on it, no Text/image.

3) The First Level of the link is displayed OK, but If I click on a link in there, the page that loads is blank and I can scroll all the way to the bottom, but nothing appears on the page.

4) In the Text size setting, if you select it to Medium, only the Text size on the top and the bottom  (The Browser Window text) gets bigger, but the text of the actual Web site still remains the same, so this feature may or may not be working..

5) On your site for comparable phones, there is a picture for the Motorola RIZR Z3, but when you go to that the text under only says about e/V series, nothing about the Z series... Which is the best version for this phone ???

menu-settings-system-PIC settings. turn the pics on

when you check "second session", that means it will load the images after loading the text. but you should turn PICs on at first.

it's a general version. you can choose to download UCWEB via your handset.

The site was a forum... thetechguy.com...
I tried to see what version I have but could not find any info on that, where do I go to see this information???

Next is.. yesterday I tried to log on to Gmail.com....
It does not let me log in... the error it gives is that the Page does not exist.....
I can log on to the same site using operamini, but not using ucweb.


When you are trying to log on to the sites... the browser goes thru many transformations...
For example... starts with...
Connecting Network...
Then...
Seconds Sessions.....
then
Prase something.....
then a blank screen...
Here are the settings that I have on the browser:
System:
Cache: 6 (I have tried to change it to a higher number, but it does not stick and comes back to 6)

Font Size:
Small

Image:
Normal Quality

Load Content by Session:
Whole

Cookie:
ON

Java Script:
ON

Small Screen Renderer:
ON

Scroll Smoothly:
ON

Full Screen:
ON

Pre-Loading:
Text & Image

The browser is good... but it is not able to do some of the basic things that other mobile browsers can do...

Please ask any further questions so that I can help you understand the issues....

1. Are you using the Chinese version, or the English version?
2. Where did you download the ucweb? Is it RIZR Z3(the recommend version for RIZR Z3) of motorola on wap.ucweb.com?

I got it from your site under RIZR Z3, > Newer version
Version is 5.1.0

Any idea's why I cannot log on to Gmail???
Further, you state on your site that there is built in support for Office files... pdf/word etc... is it native or the phone has to be able to see these apart from the browser...
More over, you ststed inbuilt support for webmail, where is this feature???


When I try to log on to Gmail, it takes me to the login page, I fill out the username and the password.......
Then it takes me to a Google Accounts Page... the error on the page is:
"The page you requested is invalid"

CANNOT log on to GMAIL using the browser....

The url is:
www.gmail.com
this brings me to the log in page with the user name and tthe password.
After both of these are entered, the browser takes me to a page with the heading: Google Accounts
And under there it states: The page you requested is invalid.
Here I can log on to the account settings and change all the configs for the google account.... but I cannot get into the Gmail ....view...

The latest is v6.3 final. Please download it from wap.ucweb.com. If you are unable to locate it, download from the direct links threads in my signature

Well i had a good appetite tonight .
I was not replying Nadir. My post was for 919263.
Look at the 4th post in this thread. Look at the settings he is describing. Its that of v5.1.
No wonder he is also complaining about several issues. Coz he is using a stone age version of ucweb. That was released what, some 2 years ago? .
Besides, i didnt give link to v5.1, so why would you think i answered Nadir anyway
